If you fancy a bit of a workout in exchange for pasties and cake, come and help dig out the culvert by the new bridge. Now that the bridge is in place the culvert is redundant and just forms a bottleneck in the flow of the stream. We’re planning to dig out the concrete pipe and reconfigure the banks. Start at 11am. Bring tools with you e.g. spade or mattock. Wear wellies, gloves etc.; it will be muddy!
